March sees the return of the North East’s largest dedicated business-to-business event, Business Link’s Business Exchange North East.
The two day event, formerly the North East Regional Business Fair, will provide North East companies with the opportunity to generate supply chain value by providing access to over 2000 regional decision makers.
Business Exchange North East is designed to help companies to develop and grow through practical workshops, opportunities to do business, inspirational speakers and networking. Key industry sectors addressed include automotive, advanced engineering and manufacturing , chemical, commercial creative, defence and marine, energy and low carbon technologies, food and drink, healthcare, knowledge intensive business (KIBS), and tourism and hospitality.
Highlights include the Procurement Pavilion, which provides an opportunity to meet a host of influential buyers. Over 90 UK purchasing professionals will have the chance to do business with the very best suppliers the North East has to offer. By matching supplier requirements, the region’s businesses will be guaranteed one-to-one appointments with public and private sector buyers actively looking to purchase specific products and services and form productive relationships.
The Business Exchange Exhibition will provide an opportunity for businesses to showcase their products and services to influential business owners, directors and entrepreneurs.
The North East Business Conference incorporates an impressive and inspiring line up of keynote speakers, interactive practical business seminars offering the chance to learn cutting edge business techniques, and a series of sessions in the Leadership Lounge hosted by Durham Business School. Details of the conference programme will be coming soon. Delegates are being advised to book their places as the high profile keynote sessions are likely to fill up quickly.
Throughout the event Business Link advisers will be on hand to give up-to-date information on a range of topics through a programme of free support clinics.
